paper sword making day at Preschool :)

so this is a common 2/3 year old sight, they 'learn' to push- i say 'learn' because in the states we'd be taught not to push but here pushing isn't culturally rude, it is just 'normal'
so here they are in these pics pushing their way about in the nicest way possible
and really the amazing thing is that josiah doesn't seem minded by it at all, he just takes it in stride like all the other local kids

this day they made swords out of magazine ads- it was great, when they first were given their piece of paper, josiah had no idea what to do with it- so his teacher had to show him a few times how a paper ad could really be today's art project and fun activity :)

his teacher teaching them how to paper 'sword fight'

there is jo and on the L a very happy paper sword making classmate, on the R, it is a kid who was crying all day- very annoying!

he's pretty fierce :)

do you see josiah, all the way on the Right!

and here is josiah showing Evie Joy and our Ayi his paper sword, both of whom were very impressed!

then his teacher volunteered him to participate in this game, where a stick is attached to an empty formula can- he loved it!

Josiah, What a fun preschool you have!! You did a great job on your sword - and seem to be such a good sword fighter!!! I like how you take turns on the slides with all your friends too!!
