we have known leah since she was a baby too and now she is 3! (she is 8 months older than EJ)

BIG SMILES!

little Evie Joy is wearing an outfit Leah wore last year! so fun!
Josiah loves playing on the caboose!

Of course, the ice cream truck came by and tempted us!

Aquarium Fun with friend Emory!

barely got josiah in the pic :) but i love emory and evie Joy - they are both 3 and use to hang out as infants in the nursery together :)  i love how now they are bigger they can be friends and play together :)
kiddos loved playing outside in water!
we think normal Americans make their kids wear a little more in the play-water creeks
but we aren't all that normal :)

love this one of Emory- so cute!

Evie Joy & Josiah Random Recent Happenings...

top pic- at Heritage Park playing in the creek until we found out snakes were in the creek...several, possible copperheads, so we got out of that fun!
Mommy found some dress up bargins at a Yardsale for a buck!  :)  Jo- Batman, EJ-Pirate

had loads of fun for a few hours making super long tracks out on the sidewalk in the front yard!
Ej in Jo's old thomas pj's, Jo in his new Thomas pj's :) woo woo!

MaMa Evie JOY

Evie Joy loves taking care of her babies or pretending her stuffed animals are actually babies- Above she was dressing them up in her clothes, below she is feeding doggie, zebra, panda and bear
here, they are all in their vests :)
and here they are going for a swim?!
She cracks me up that she puts so much energy pretending to do all the tasks with her animals that truly exhaust me everyday in caring for our house and family :)  But i do love her creativity and imagination!  She is always cracking me up with something she is doing with her animals or for them!

Yikes! Artwork! Evie JOY!

this is from Cubbies- "All that He made was gooood!"  We do a thumbs up and say "good" in a real fun deep voice!

Shape mat made at Preschool- it has been a fun idea to put different foods/drink on different shapes and talk about them!

Her days of creation- i think it is a fun idea, but hers are in the wrong order :)
This cutting and pasting was Josiah's homework but MiMi copied one for Evie Joy because she wanted to do one too!

the house says "Evie Joy's Zacchaeus bag" I think she made it at school possibly learning the story of Zacchaeus?!

In Sunday School she made this "God made me" person!  I love all the different color shades of hair, very accurate!
This angel is really fun!  They made this at Cubbie Bears!  I think it was the story of Jesus' birth- angel announces!
I love this comparison chart she did at Preschool- Evie Joy and the only boy in the class, Greer were compared, very cute!

her pig from Preschool!
and sheep!

 and white circle picture!
And love this - this is from Miss Ashley at Cubbie Bears- baby Jesus wrapped in swaddling cloth!  Love!

Yikes Artwork! Josiah

Josiah had to fill this out his first week of school- I love that he says his favortie thing to do is give hugs and kisses!  And his favorite subject is Chinese!  He really is very sweet!

He painted this Ni Hao Kai Lan picture at home.  I am so impressed how his painting and colornig skills are improving to stay in between the lines more and more!

Josiah brought this home from class, where he had practiced tracing all his letters - notice his name with the backwards S

Above- a homework assignment we did together :)  color letters red, shapes green!
he made this apple framed picture of him at the Apple Orchard!  He loved learning all about Apples and going to the Orchard!

His family tree!
I loved this Spiderman painting he did, again he really is doing so well trying to completely paint the picture and stay in the lines.  He plans to give this to hsi friends this week!

The other morning he gave this to me and said "Happy Mommy's Day Mommy I love you! This is for you!" I was out the night before so apparently he made this for me!

cutting pasting matching Preschool work!

This was Josiah's homework, he did all the cutting and pasting and coloring.  I thought he did quite well!

number 5 from Preschool
Cubbie Bear from Cubbies!

this sailboat is from a stamp book our friends gave Josiah on EJ's bday- i thought he did such a good job on the sailboat!
This is also from Cubbies- I love what it says :)

Number 4 from Preschool and Preschool Homework- Numbers Green, Letters Red!
Letter L in Preschool
Cutting and Pasting at Preschool
Letter F at Preschool- Josiah has loved learning about fire, firetrucks, firemen and the color red!
There is a song he taught us from class "Red, Red, Red, apples, cherries and strawberries, all these shapes are red!"
Tracing his name from Preschool class in Red!  No problems tracing the S correctly :)
