there are some really sweet things about josiah i've neglected to write for a few months now...

i love it when he does the 'robot' dance

sings the itsy bitsy spider and says 'mommy, itsy spider'...then everything is the 'itsy spider'

his cheeks when he falls asleep, still so sweet

how he rubs his bunny when he falls asleep

puts liek 4 pillows on top of himself to fall asleep

i've neglected these 2 1/2 years to write on here jo and mommy's 4 songs:

1. Mommy "mommy love, mommy love, who does mommy love?" Josiah "jo jo"

2. Mommy " I love me a Jo Jo, yes I do, how about you?" Jo "Why yes of course I do!" and then he will say "how about you Daddy, MiMi, Poppe...etc...?" and they must sing the song

3. Mommy "Mommy loves a Jo, Daddy loves a Jo" Jo "Everybody loves a Jo Jo"

4. "Mommy and Jo Jo best of buddies" (that's it to that one)

I love it when I return home and Josiah runs to me and hugs me and says "Mommy, miss you, miss you!"

We say "Are you OK?" And he says "Yes, I'm fine" no matter if he is bleeding or something is really wrong, he will say, "I'm fine" in response to the ? "Are you OK?"

I don't want to forget how he imitates us with his toys- one day he took 2 camels and said, "Mommy, Daddy miss you " then made the camels kiss (made kissing noise)

after someone or so many times his cheeks get slapped, he will say "oh no, my cheeks!" it is quite cute. yesterday he got an ac installed in his room, covering up a hole in the wall. he said, "oh no, my house" because he liked to look out the hole at all the houses. he looks outside our living room window and calls the buildings 'dinosaurs"

Eric said "you are a funny guy" Josiah said "No, I'm Josiah" And he says this in response to anything you call him....I said to Evie Joy "Hey Little Girl" and Josiah said "NO, that's Sissy!"

When someone knocks at the door, he runs to the door and says "Xie Xie" which means Thank you! Ha, gotta love JO!

Evie Joy 11 months

Evie Joy has made it to 11 months old!

She loves climbing on the couch and throwing her self around

errr- it's ok, no accidents, yet!



she looooves climbing on everything!



she is so sweet- such a little girl, when i am cooking, she loves to play with the pots and plastic containers, she is so smart- she can match the lids up with the correct container :)

her little curls coming out are sooo cute

some things i've neglected to write for sometime, i wanted to be sure to share:

when she feeds, before bf and now from a bottle, she loves to bend her leg up in the air, like she were a dog peeing...sooo funny

and when she is really excited, she taps her leg kinda like a little puppy-

and to show love, she gives love pats, i love them!

she loves to get comfy to sleep by nestling her little head into a pillow

i love the way DAddy gives her kisses and it immediately calms her down

when she is full at a meal bf, bottle or sit at table meal, she will put her paci in to let us know she is all done, cracks me up

one time i thought she was done bf and i put her paci in, she took it right back out and fed for another 5 minutes and then SHE put her paci in :)

she now has 5 teeth, 2 on the bottom and 3 on the top
she is very determined, like i said if she wants something she will push and shove until she gets it. she loves to tackle daddy and brother especially.

she loves eating EVERYTHING...mcdonalds, rice, noodles, bananas, yogurt, ice cream, not really too much she doesn't love eating!

she says mama, dada, bro bro, waves and says hello (side wave), waves bye bye (open/closed hand wave)

she loves opening and closing cabinets, doors...she will go and wake brother up if she rises first by pushing his bedroom door open!

she can throw fits with the best of them! josiah was never like she is at her age- if we tell her no, take something away, she gets her feelings hurt-she is such a DRAMA QUEEN! oh my goodness! not when she falls down or something that should really hurt, it is all about the feelings! Drama! she will cry real tears and make you feel horrible over you saying NO!
as we've shared on the blog, she can walk across the room, crawling is still faster so she often reverts to crawling in her determined spirit. We are praying and asking God that He uses her determination for HIS GLORY AND GOOD!

trying to make FRIENDS in my new home town...

so i've spent many a hours this past month trying to find friends...

a few times we've gone to the pool

now we don't' have swim diapers and NONE of them do either, soooo

i guess it's kinda like a river of sorts?!

this man was super nice to me and tried to help me learn how to use this vest thing my dad got me, ugh? it's ok....but i miss my blue ring...

here are his 2 kids, who were super nice to me!

i really like the frog!

i always try to make friends at the indoor playgrounds at kfc and mcdonalds-

check out the split pants, pretty common, which means the playground is kinda like playing in a bathroom of sorts, i don't know, we try to sanitize a lot

more playground friends...

sometimes they are kind to me and sometimes they really aren't, they just treat me like i'm a zoo exhibit, etc...but mommy and daddy just keep praying with me and encouraging me to reach out and be kind

these people are learning how to skate on the side of the street- i thought i might join them without skates perhaps?

only problem is sometimes they come everyday, several times

i did teach them "Sissy" in English :)

instead of calling one another by names they call each other "Little Sister" "Big Sister" etc...so they call Evie Joy "Sissy" It's cute!

this is a 'more normal' setting of making friends, on the middle of the sidewalk, in front or inside of little shops, running around and so forth...

this little guy is my FAVORTIE! he is super gentle and kind to me and i don't mind him at all touching my cheeks even! his family owns a restaurant we like to eat at!

and this is Mary- she is by far our favorite little girl friend. She really tries to play with me and Sissy when she comes over. She has a real sweet gentle spirit too! She likes to draw Christmas trees :) Anyway, she is super sweet and we hope for more good times with her!

evie joy is a little stinker when it comes to walking. when we are doing something else and happen to catch her in the corner of our eye, oops...there she is walking across the room! but she doesn't like to actually walk to us. we have gotten her to walk to this poo toy so here is our attempt to share her walking :) ha ha! she is very stubborn! she also doesn't like to be lifted up to stand to begin walking...all must be on her own!

Blogger is very slow for us these days soooo these are a little mixed up :)

this was definitely a highlight!

now i can do every indoor playground, climbing up and down stairs, up and down slides, i am a pretty amazing 10 month old!

i finally got a bath after several days, in the sink! yay for sinks!

Auntie Michelle came all the way to East Asia with us.

We had some good times! And now, i sure am missing her :(

i flew over 30 hours and did so good! i slept in this little hanging bassinet on the plane! mommy and daddy were so proud of me! i also decided to completely give up breast feeding during this incredibly long journey :)
