A few definitions I want to remember

Recently when teaching the kids we've used a few  definitions I want to keep:

HOLY- special, set apart and NO sin

REPENT- truly sorry in your heart, say you are wrong and choose to obey, do the right thing

HUMBLE- say you do wrong

Also, Daddy explained an object lesson that has really spoken to Josiah:
 he is made in His image with his mind, poured ink on a paper, had him do fingerprint, said our sin is black stuff on our heart, we have God's fingerprint on our heart and if we sin, it puts black stuff and then people can't see his fingerprint. but the ink on our hands we use soap and water to get it off, but the black on our heart only Jesus' blood can wash it away... he has been thinking about this so now when he is kind it is showing God's fingerprint to people and if he sins it is putting black stuff on his heart

Oldie but Goodie Sunday Fun with Juzi!

this was from last Spring before our life went internationally crazy, but it was such a fun day playing with our friend Juzi, i wanted to include it as a keepsake!

Judah's favorite game!

 The kids discovered that if they run around Judah in circles, he will stop fussing, ha!  But, sometimes they get a little tired :)!  After like 10 minutes one night, Josiah said "Mommy, how do you get him to sleep?"  ha!

Judah 2 months!

 i just thought all these were so cute of him sitting up, being so alert and with so much expression!

 I love his sweet baby smiles and coos.

And these, i attempted a picture of how ridiculous he looks in this sling!  But he loves to be suctioned in like re-entering the womb i suppose!  His afternoon naps are always in the sling!

And sweet baby sleeping pictures...at night, he is still loving his carseat for sleeping.

Learning Fun!

This is our second Semester of Kindergarten Home School for Josiah, Evie Joy is working her way up to K, last Semester she was still in 'PreSchool' but now is in 'Pre K'

I love this first picture of them- it is one of their first official days back. They dressed themselves- Josiah is in what he calls his Kungfu outfit and Evie Joy is a rainbow of sorts! They are pictured in Math class working on an AABB pattern!

 After our Sunday Bible story, Josiah made this mini book all on his own, I thought it was so sweet how he did it on his own, no prompting and how he including words to describe the progression of the story.

This is our Schedule!  :)  Wish that schedule maker could clip art a little better, ha!  But this is the schedule we have followed for some time, but we have it in writing to help the kids pay attention and practice telling time and what to expect next. 

 We shared sometime back how Daddy was trying to teach a little about the solar system so here Josiah drew some kind of outer space.  there are stars, countries America, Africa and China, the moon.  God is beside the stars...He made it all...Anyways, he learned a few things from Daddy's lesson!

 Evie Joy loves learning.  Here she and I are multi-tasking, doing some lessons while working in the kitchen!

It was suppose to take 3 days for the water to evaporate but it took like 2 weeks since it is so moist here! But at least we had plenty of days to practice saying 'evaporate!'
