some of my favorite local food

one of our favorite places to eat changed from dishes to these waffle things (above), but recently they sell both :) which is great for our family bc Jo loves the waffles

here is Jo finished with his waffles and having his 3rd serving of rice, chicken and peanuts, carrots and fat (like bacon) and green beans

helping with the laundry

our laundry is very interesting, esp. in the winter or like 6 months out of the year because we have to air dry it around the house- it is everywhere and it normally takes a few days to dry because it is so wet and cold- here you can get an idea of laundry everywhere- hanging from the ceiling, the wall, in the middle of the room, on the chair...i follow dad around and try to help out- what really happens is i play with the hangers or rearrange the clothes- here i found some clothes pins to play with so i'm not really all that helpful but i enjoy myself!

This is an oldie but goodie pic- taken about a month ago in celebration of my 1 year mark! But, we just got the pics back from the picture place and they retouched this one a bit and we really like it. Also, they sent Daddy home with a contract for me to model for them. They want me to right away but Daddy informed them we are a little busy but maybe in January. So, we will let you know how it all goes. But i mean, it has to be a good idea, because who wouldn't want to see more of me?!

i'm a lot of gear

here is what mama and i looked like walking around in a lil' township this weekend- i'm a little king and mama says carrying me for a few hours a day makes it ok for her to eat all the chocolate she wants -if she can find chocolate, which is not available in the township :(

Joy fixed us dinner at her house. She is in the middle between her 2 Aunties. They are from a nearby village, but they live in our city and sell their embroidery and do some tourism work.

we had a crazy sunny somewhat warmer day so mom and i went up to the track to play...i played with my che for a few minutes, but then i was all about the rocks and leaves
